What Is ADIT Membership?
ADIT is the Association of Driving Instructor Trainers, a group of like-minded driving instructor trainers who have combined efforts to help shape the industry to provide the best possible training on an individual basis.
All ADIT members abide by the "Industry Code of Practice" which focuses on professional standards and business ethics that approved driving instructors (ADIs) agree to.
Becoming an approved ADIT trainer enables you to take advantage of our industry knowledge, co-operative advertising and enhanced exposure of your business. All ADIT members also benefit from a dedicated page on our website, a private support group, admin support and telephone answering service to field enquiries made through the ADIT website.
How Do I Become A Member?
To become a member of ADIT you must:
- be an independent training organisation
- provide quality training services to members of the public
- be happy to be part of a group of like-minded individuals who are committed to offering quality training
ADIT Membership is restricted to one trainer per area. As a rule, an area is defined as a 15-mile radius around a trainers registered business address. Under certain circumstances, where other affected providers are consulted and in agreement, we may allow more than one trainer in an area.
If you meet the above criteria, you can apply through our website (below) which will then be reviewed by our ADIT management team.

How Much Does ADIT Membership Cost?
To become an ADIT approved trainer, you must pay a one-off joining fee of £200 which covers the creation of your dedicated page on our website, setup of online advertising content relating to your company and any future updates to your listing on the ADIT website. There is then a monthly membership fee of £50 / month which is due each month.
For your monthly membership fee, you will receive over £1000 worth of co-operative advertising. This membership fee contributes to the UKADIT advertising budget and administration fees.
What Happens Next?
Following your successful application, we will contact you by email to collect your joining fee and setup your monthly membership fee. We will send you a link to a page on our website where you can provide your business details and information about the training that you provide so that we can create a dedicated page on our website for you. Upon successful payment of your joining fee, you will be provided with a login to our website so that you can manage your account and take advantage of all the ADIT benefits.
